This privacy policy applies to Forj, which was developed by Forj GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “Service Provider”) as a free service. This service is offered “as is”.

What information does Forj collect and how is it used?

Forj collects information that you provide when downloading and registering Forj, such as your email.

In addition, Forj collects various interactions within the platform, such as logging in, creating training plans and other interactions with the platform.

Forj does not collect information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties have access to information collected by Forj?

Only aggregated data is transmitted to Mixpanel to help Forj improve its services.

The service provider may share information provided by the user and collected automatically:

• when required by law, e.g. to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process.

• if it believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect its rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;

• to its trusted service providers who work on its behalf, do not independently use the information we disclose to them and have agreed to abide by the rules set out in this Privacy Policy.

What rights do you have to opt-out?

You can opt out of all data collection by Forj simply by uninstalling or deleting your Forj account. You can use the uninstall procedures available as part of your mobile device or via the marketplace or network.

Data retention policy, management of your data

The service provider stores automatically collected information for up to 60 months. It will be automatically deleted after this period. If you would like the service provider to delete data provided by the user that you have provided via Forj, please contact them at hello@joinforj.com.

Please note that some or all of the data provided by the user may be required for the Forj to function properly.

Children

Forj is not directed to persons under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If Service Provider becomes aware that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Information, Service Provider will promptly delete such information from its servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact the Service Provider at hello@joinforj.com so that the Service Provider can take the necessary steps.

Security

The Service Provider endeavors to protect the confidentiality of your data. Service Provider provides electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process and maintain. For example, we restrict access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve Forj. Please note that while we endeavor to take reasonable security precautions for the information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Modifications

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any modifications to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. It is recommended that you check this Privacy Policy every few months for modifications, as continued use constitutes acceptance of all modifications.

Your Consent

By using Forj, you consent to the Service Provider processing your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as it now exists and as it may be amended by us. “Process” means using cookies on a computer/handheld device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information.
